7K a year Best Line Equipment is currently seeking a full-time, Heavy Equipment Sales Representative based out of our Uniontown, PA location.
You will be responsible for the promotion and sales of the DEVELON heavy and compaction lines primarily for the heavy excavation, road construction, and large-scale agricultural industries.
The position will have an assigned sales territory that covers Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Fayette, Somerset, Washington, Greene and Westmoreland counties in PA and all of Northern/Central West Virginia.
You must have equipment knowledge and the customer service and sales skills necessary to earn a significant portion of your wage based upon sales results.
The position has an annual base salary plus the opportunity to earn a variable compensation component.
Job Overview:
Frequent jobsite and office visits to develop personal relationships, offer insight, and provide equipment recommendations.
Develop, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships to create a steady and ever-growing revenue stream.
Promote and sell products and services that require extensive technical expertise and support for operation.
Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
Develop and maintain a client base in public, private, and government contracts.
Furnish high demand customers with various equipment, while providing 24-hour service and response.
Offer invoicing tailored specifically to meet the needs of the industry.
Attend all sales calls and meetings, reporting directly to Sales Manager.
Requirements:
Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a similar position.
Valid driver's license.
Non-CDL, DOT medical card (or ability to obtain.
) Ability to use a computer.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be a team-player with the ability to manage multiple items simultaneously.
